Serbia: Tivani in yellow, Zahiri in green

Great team success for Trevigiani Phonix Hemus 1896 in Tour of Serbia overall standing. The Argentinian champion Nicolas Tivani won the three-days race with an 8” lead over the Belarusian Yauhen Sola (Minsk Cycling Club) and 10″ over the Moldovan Cristian Raileanu (Torku Sekerspor). Thanks to the victory in the inaugural fraction, the third place of yesterday stage and the excellent defense today, the 22 years old from San Juan managed to bring home the yellow jersey.
Moroccan teammate Abderrahim Zahiri won the green jersey as leader of the points classification.
«I am really happy for this success, which I dedicate to my family and to the whole team, which especially today helped me to defend myself from the rivals attacks. The stage victory of two days ago has been very important for me, now I have to continue like this. I will work to do even better and get noticed by the major teams» commented Tivani, who gave to the team from Treviso the 13th seasonal victory.
The team led by Mirko Rossato will be back in competition with the professionals from June 20th to 24th at Adriatica Ionica Race in Italy and, in the respective countries of the riders, for the Under 23 and Elite National Championships.
