The 2017 season just ended for Team Trevigiani Phonix Hemus 1896, but the leaders of the Italian-Bulgarian team are already working for the next one.
The team, which will still be in the Continental category, currently only includes Under 23 athletes. «We continue along the road already undertaken: our mission will once again raise young talents and make them ready for the big jump in World Tour, racing in the U23 category to go hunting for the result and in professional races to accumulate unique experiences» explains team manager Mirko Rossato.
President Ettore Renato Barzi has confirmed for next year Italian Marco Molteni, Bulgarian Mihail Mihaylov and Moroccan Zahiri Abderrahim and has already hired 7 riders among the most promising on the international scene. Fabio Mazzucco from Padua, raised among the juniors in Team Borgo Molino Rinascita Ormelle and Filippo Zana from Vicenza and Autozai Contri Team, both protagonists at Bergen World Championship, Alessandro Fedeli from Verona coming from Team Colpack, French Arnoult Floryan, this year at VC La Pomme Marseille, Spanish by Gsport Valenciasport Manuel Peñalver Aniorte, Bulgarian Yoan Kolev, who comes from the nursery of Cycling Team Hemus 1896 and Colombian Javier Ignacio Montoya matured at Medellin-Inder will dress the jersey of prestigious UC Trevigiani. Negotiations are ongoing to complete the team’s roster and define the sponsoring panel that in 2018 will support these young talents in another season with plenty of opportunities to collect around the globe.
